Devotional: Body Image 3D Workshop

When I think of Tri Delta, I think of home. Today, I was reminded just why I chose this organization and it was for the encouragement, love and compassion that each delta sister holds for one another. At our Body Image 3D workshop, we were each reminded of our values and strengths and to never look down on ourselves. This workshop gave me the opportunity to always find the good in myself and the others that surround me. Often times, we may feel alone in the world and feel that we cannot talk things out because “no one feels like I do.” Well, that is never the case. Today I was reminded just how strong our sisterhood is when we each found a commonality by one of the activities we played together. We built our trust by sharing our own personal demons and were finally able to express our insecurities that we have always been to afraid to share. Body Image 3D gave us the opportunity for how to always look for the positive side each day and that even if we are down, there is always a reason to smile and always a shoulder to cry on in our forever home of Tri Delta. This opportunity drew us all closer together, it again, reminded us why we are all proud to be a Delta Delta Delta TRI. I am honored to call myself a Tri Delta and I will forever be grateful for the forever friendships I have found in this organization.
